Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Paramedic to provide emergency medical care in a prehospital setting. You will drive EMS units, assess patient condition, administer basic and advanced life support, and document care per standards.

Requirements include a PA Paramedic license or EMS Compact Privilege, high school diploma or GED, and CPR/ALS/BLS credentials. Compliance with HIPAA and safety policies is expected.

Responsibilities

• Drives emergency or response vehicle and responds to calls
• Determines illness/injury severity and provides BLS/ALS care during treatment and transport
• Completes required documentation according to regulatory standards
• Maintains equipment and inventory, and carries medications on EMS unit
• Performs other duties as assigned
