Job summary

The Talbot County Emergency Medical Services department seeks an experienced Paramedic/CRT to deliver advanced medical care in both field and transport settings. You will operate under Maryland protocols, stabilize patients, and assume medical command when needed.

We require Nationally Registered or Maryland Certified credentials with at least five years of active EMS practice. A strong focus on patient care, report accuracy and collaboration with fire and hospital teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Nationally Registered Paramedic or Maryland Certified Paramedic/CRT.
• Five years of active EMS experience with strong field skills.
• Must meet Maryland Protocols and work with EMS SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care at the scene, en route or per protocol.
• Stabilize the patient to the highest EMS level available.
• Assist in extrication of victims from wreckage or entrapment.
• Perform triage and assume medical command at incidents.
• Supervise or perform Basic Life Support and related care.
• Complete state, county and hospital reports promptly.
