VCU Health in Richmond seeks an ED Technician II under physician supervision to provide direct and indirect patient care, assist with activities of daily living, comfort and nutrition, and support diagnostic procedures. This role requires Virginia EMT-Paramedic licensure and ACLS certification, with a completed accredited EMT-P course and 1 year of pre-hospital experience preferred.

Shifts include nights, weekends, and holidays, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus for offers accepted by July 31, 2026.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-P/Paramedic certification/licensure in Virginia.
• AHA ACLS Certification.
• Successful completion of an accredited EMT-P/Paramedic course.
• 1 year of active pre-hospital service (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living, comfort care, and nutritional support.
• Perform and assist with direct and indirect patient care tasks under physician direction.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and manage supplies and equipment.
• Data collection relevant to the patient population.
• Work under SOPs and protocols with RN and physicians.
