Job summary

Allegiance Mobile Health and Lone Star Ambulance Services in northwest San Antonio, TX are seeking Paramedics (EMT-P) to provide advanced life support in emergency and non-emergency settings. The role demands clinical expertise, leadership, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, administering medications, interpretting EKGs, and ensuring safe transport to facilities. You will work with multiple agencies and complete thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Texas paramedic certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• PHTLS or ITLS certification required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day.
• Drives a variety of emergency vehicles in all road conditions.
• Follows driving laws, policies and procedures.
• Communicates with dispatchers, EMS crews, and first responders.
• Keeps vehicles and equipment ready and clean.
• Completes daily checks and re-supply tasks.
• Reports discrepancies in writing.
• Provides direct patient care per Medical Director's protocols.
• Demonstrates clinical competency in patient care.
• Handles physically demanding tasks and exposes to hazards.
• Collaborates with external agencies and documents care and billing.
• Passes NEOP skills evaluation before staffing a truck.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures.
