About BioLife Plasma Services

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

About the role:

You will determine donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and Center Physician, and be familiar with plasma collection regulations. You will also support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

1. Determining donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history, physical exams, blood testing, and reviewing SPE.
2. Evaluating donor reactions and managing medical emergencies per SOPs.
3. Referring complex cases to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs.
4. Supporting vaccination programs.
5. Managing employee incidents and supporting pandemic response efforts as authorized.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• State licensure or certification as EMT-Paramedic.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• State requirements for IV therapy.
• Completion of FDA-approved training for Medical Support Specialist.
• At least two years of clinical or hospital experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

Location: USA - TX - Fort Worth

Hourly Wage Range: $23.85 - $32.79, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more.
