Job summary

UMass Memorial Medical Group is seeking a skilled EMT-Paramedic to join the Emergency Medical Services team. You will perform patient assessment, stabilization, and care across multiple shift schedules, including nights and weekends, supporting the Mobile Integrated Health program.

Required certifications include EMT-Paramedic, CP-C within 1 year, CPR/BLS, ACLS, and a valid driver’s license. Health system employment offers a signing bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.
• Certification as a Certified Community Paramedic (CP-C) within 1 year of acceptance as a condition of employment.
• Certified in CPR - Basic Rescue by AHA/Red Cross.
• Certified in ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support by AHA.
• Current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Administers skilled, family-centered medical care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment/reassessment per protocol.
• Responds to emergency situations as required.
• Stabilizes and manages acutely ill patients per EMS protocols.
• Ensures MIH vehicle is stocked with supplies and meds.
