Job summary

Medical City Plano, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Paramedic Emergency Department PRN to support patient care in a busy ED. Shifts offered include 3p-3a or 7p-7a, with responsibilities spanning direct patient care, documentation, and emergency response.

Required certifications (ACLS, BCLS, PALS) must be obtained within 30 days, along with valid Paramedic credentials. Vocational training and at least one year of acute care hospital experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced cardiac life support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic cardiac life support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Paramedic (EMT-P) or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP) required.
• 1+ year acute care hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs psychomotor skills as outlined during educational training and orientation process.
• Maintains responsibility for cleaning, stocking, and organizing storage areas.

What qualifications you will need:
