Job summary

HCA Healthcare in Plano, TX seeks an Obstetric Surgical Technologist for night shifts (12-hour). You will prepare the surgical suite, assist during obstetric procedures, maintain sterile technique, and support the team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a high‑volume maternity setting.

With access to training and mentorship, this role offers predictable scheduling, on‑call support, and opportunities for growth within the obstetric and surgical specialties.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Graduate / GED, or Vocational School Graduate.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures.
• Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety.
• Providing instruments, equipment, and hands‑on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly.
• Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience.
