Job summary

Medical City Plano is part of HCA Healthcare and seeks a skilled Paramedic to support acute care patients. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, perform required emergency procedures, and help maintain orderly storage and documentation to ensure safe, efficient care.

Requirements include Paramedic (EMT-P), ACLS, BCLS, PALS within 30 days, and at least 1 year of acute care hospital experience, with a vocational school graduate background.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs direct patient care as assigned by the RN and reports observations, results of procedures, and patient needs to appropriate person.

• Performs psychomotor skills as outlined during educational training and orientation process (see Critical Skills Chcklst).

• Maintains responsibility for cleaning, stocking, and organizing of storage areas.

• Documents pertinent data in concise and timely manner.

• Demonstrates the ability to respond to emergency procedure

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

• Vocational School Graduate required

• Paramedic (EMT-P), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP) - required

• 1+ year acute care hospital experience required
