Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Room to deliver high-quality patient care under the Medical Director and charge nurse guidance.

Ideal candidates hold Paramedic certification, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials or instructor designations within required timeframes, with at least 1 year of experience in an urgent care environment.

Qualifications

• BCLS or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Paramedic
• ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• 1 year experience required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
