Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Room to support patient care with professionalism and compassion. You will work under the Medical Director and coordinate with the charge nurse for shift assignments and delegated tasks, ensuring safe, effective care in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Paramedic credential with BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, including instructor qualifications within stated timeframes, and have at least 1 year of experience in

Job Summary And Qualifications

• The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
