Job summary

Medical City Las Colinas is seeking a Paramedic to provide quality patient care under the Medical Director's direction. You will report to the charge nurse for shift assignments and alignment of duties, with RN oversight on delegation per rules.

The role emphasizes safety, clinical skills, and adherence to hospital policies. Qualified candidates hold BCLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials (instructors may be required within specific timeframes) and bring at least 1 year of experience in acute care

Qualifications

• BCLS instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Paramedic credential is required for this role.
• ACLS instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Minimum 1 year of experience is required.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
