Medical City Dallas is seeking a Paramedic to provide quality patient care under the direction of the Medical Director. You will report to the charge nurse for shift assignments and ensure appropriate delegation in accordance with RN guidelines.

The role requires active paramedic certification and instructor credentials within specified timelines. Eligible candidates should have basic and advanced life support certifications, plus a minimum of one year of related experience.

Qualifications

• BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Paramedic certification is required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
