Medical City Dallas is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality patient care under the Medical Director and shift leadership. The role supports staffing decisions and nurse delegation within regulatory guidelines, ensuring efficient patient flow in acute care settings.

Qualified candidates will hold Paramedic certification, BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within specified timelines, plus at least one year of experience.

Job Summary And Qualifications

• The Paramedic will be able to provide quality care to patients under the direction of the Medical Director in accordance with the philosophy, goals, and objectives of Medical City Healthcare. Reports to the charge nurse for shift assignments and direction of shift duties assigned. Each RN decides on a case-by-case basis what nursing tasks may be delegated to the unlicensed personnel in accordance with Rule 224 (relating to RN delegation in acute care settings or for patients with acute conditions).

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• 1 years experience Required Years of Experience
