Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Paramedic for the Emergency Room to deliver high‑quality patient care under the Medical Director's guidance. You will operate under the charge nurse for shift assignments and collaborate with RNs to provide timely emergency services.

The ideal candidate holds Paramedic certification with BCLS, ACLS, and PALS credentials (or instructor credentials within specified timeframes) and has at least 1 year of experience in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification required.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ACLS Instructor/ACLS credential must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS Instructor/PALS credential must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Medical Director and per shift delegation from the charge nurse.
• Assist RN with delegated tasks in accordance with RN delegation rules.
• Collaborate with ED team to ensure timely, safe care for emergency patients.
