Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation and determine the best course of action with Paramedic protocols.
• Use Paramedic skills and equipment to provide advanced medical care, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
