Qualifications

• State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare work experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsabilités

• Assess each call and determine the best course of action using paramedic protocols.
• Use paramedic skills with medical equipment to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage the scene and unit when needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
