Job summary

Mercy EMS is seeking a Paramedic to provide advanced prehospital care, stabilization, and transport. You will work under the Medical Director, adhering to Mercy policies and standards of care. Strong physical ability and the capacity to perform in difficult environments are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Paramedic license (EMT-P) for state of practice.
• Hazmat awareness and ACLS at hire; PALS within 6 months.
• Must meet physical requirements and pass fitness tests.

Responsibilities

• Operate EMS equipment and document care provided.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, access patients in challenging environments.
• Maintain safety and coordinate with medical teams during transport.
