Allegheny Health Network seeks a seasoned EMS professional to support prehospital emergency medical care across its network. The role involves driving EMS units, assessing patient condition, and delivering BLS/ALS during treatment and transport, while ensuring regulatory documentation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, PA Paramedic license or EMS Compact Privilege, and hold or obtain ACLS, ITLS/PHTLS, and PALS within specified timelines.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED; 5 years' EMS experience for Prehospital Unit.
• Current PA Paramedic license or EMS Compact Privilege to Practice in Pennsylvania.
• ACLS, ITLS, PHTLS, ABLS and ASLS within required timeframes.

Responsabilidades

• Drives emergency or response vehicle.
• Determines nature of illness or injury; provide basic and advanced life support to patients during treatment and transport.
• Completes required documentation according to regulatory standards.
• Maintains equipment and inventory of supplies including BLS and ALS and has accountability for medications on every EMS unit.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
