Job summary

Texas Health Dallas is seeking a Paramedic to join the Emergency Department (ED). This full-time role on days supports a fast-paced, high-volume unit and offers self-scheduling, opportunities for growth, and collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities include patient-care delivery under physician delegation, teamwork, and applying evidence-based practices. Required ACLS/BCLS/PALS and CPI training; EMS experience and EMT-P credentials.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3 months paramedic experience or completion of a paramedic internship required.
• EMT-P or LP Paramedic license upon hire required.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire required.
• BCLS prior to independent care and quarterly maintained.
• PALS within 90 days of hire required.
• CPI training annually within 90 days required.
• Strong organizational, communication and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to priorities regarding privacy, safety, and patient needs; apply infection control measures.
• Perform technical skills tailored to population-specific needs.
• Provide safe patient care under physician delegation; other duties as delegated by RN.
• Communicate and collaborate with health care team; use resources judiciously; model ethical practice.
• Engage in professional development and evidence-based practice guidance.
