Paramedic Responsibilities
  • The ED Paramedic assists with basic patient care based on individual patient needs within his/her scope of practice under direct supervision of the registered nurse or physician.
Qualifications
Education:
  • High School Diploma, or equivalent
  • Completion of basic arrhythmia course
Licensure/Certification:
  • Current EMT or Paramedic certification
  • BLS Required
Specific Job Experience:
  • Minimum 1-year experience in a hospital or ambulance setting.
  • Previous experience with Electronic Healthcare Records helpful.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Good communication and people skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent clinical skills appropriate for an EMT or Paramedic
