Job summary

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI, is seeking a Licensed Paramedic to join the Emergency Department as Nursing Support. The role is part-time (24 hours per week) with day shifts (7am–7pm) and every third weekend, located in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

The ideal candidate will hold an Associate's degree in EMS or have completed state-approved paramedic training, with at least 1 year of EMS experience and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. A CCT background is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in emergency medical services or completion of a state-approved paramedic training program is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of EMS experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Licensed Paramedic in the state of practice is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are required.
  • Critical Care Transport (CCT) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing support in the Emergency Department as part of the ED team.
  • Assist with patient assessment, stabilization, and care planning.
  • Support ED staff during scheduled shifts and weekend coverage.

Pay Range:

$23.15 - $34.73 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Education Qualifications
