Job summary

The UCLA Center for Prehospital Care, part of UCLA Health, seeks a Clinical Instructor to deliver hands-on skills instruction for the Paramedic Education Program. Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required.
• Current CA licensure as Paramedic or RN (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum 1 year EMS field/clinical experience.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• ACLS and/or PALS instructor certifications preferred.
• NAEMT PHTLS instructor certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on skills instruction for UCLA Paramedic Education Program.
• Demonstrate and teach clinical skills and equipment use; evaluate student performance.
• Foster an engaging learning environment; ensure course objectives are met; support curriculum development and learner assessment.
• Work a minimum of two instructional shifts per month.
