Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking a Paramedic ED Transport to respond to emergency calls, provide advanced life support, and securely transport patients ensuring stability. You will assess patients, administer treatments, and supervise EMTs while maintaining ambulances and equipment per protocols.

Required Florida paramedic license with ACLS/BLS within specified timelines; Crisis Intervention and PALS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months of employment start date.
• Other-Fingerprint Required.
• Current Paramedic license in Florida.
• Ability to perform invasive procedures under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of human growth and development and appropriate patient care.
• Experience with critical care transport (if applicable).
• Associates Degree preferred.
