Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee, FL seeks a PRN Transport Paramedic to respond to emergencies and provide advanced critical care during transport to the hospital. You will work with first responders at the scene and coordinate care with emergency teams to deliver patient care based on certification level.

Required ACLS, BLS, and PALS within 30 days of start, Paramedic License, and Driver License. An Associate degree or certificate is preferred, with 1 year of EMS experience.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, and PALS within 30 days of start date.
• Paramedic license required.
• Driver license required; clean driving record.
• Associate degree or certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and operate EMS transport vehicle.
• Assess patient condition and determine appropriate treatment.
• Provide basic and advanced life support during transport.
• Coordinate with firefighters and police at the scene.
• Document patient data and communicate with receiving facility.
• Assist with non-medical scene management as needed.
