Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Paramedic Nurse Extender to support age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care under supervision of a registered nurse or physician. You will educate patients and families, collect data, and participate in planning and evaluating care across the patient journey.

The role emphasizes patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement, and oversight of unlicensed personnel, with required and preferred certifications to be maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year paramedic experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS as specified.
• Georgia Paramedic license and NREMT/ national registry preferred.
• Certifications to be maintained during employment.
