Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown in Georgia is seeking a Paramedic Nurse Extender to support the care team under supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.

You will participate in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, educate patients and families, and help maintain a safe environment while using healthcare technology.

Active Georgia paramedic license and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are preferred, with opportunity to develop through 120 days.

Qualifications

• Education required: H.S. Diploma or GED.
• 1 year Paramedic experience preferred.
• Licensing: GA Paramedic license and National Registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient care under RN/Physician supervision.
• Facilitate age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care.
