Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Methodist Hospital in San Antonio is seeking an ED Paramedic to join the team and enhance patient care in the emergency department. The role requires Texas Paramedic certification, EMT-P, and current BLS, with a minimum of two years of EMS or hospital clinical experience.

You will participate in CQI projects, maintain clinical and documentation standards, and use SBAR for communications. ACLS/PALS/BLS must be obtained within specified onboarding windows.

Qualifications

• Education: Texas Paramedic Certification required; EMT-P and BLS Healthcare Provider current.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years as a field Paramedic with EMS or hospital clinical work.
• Certifications: ACLS within 90 days; BLS within 30 days; PALS within 30 days.
• No travel: Emergency Medical Paramedic position with no travel required.
• 2 years of experience required as stated.
