Job summary

Mountain Ridge is seeking a Paramedic to join the Emergency Department team in Colorado. You will provide patient care under the supervision of ED physicians, performing procedures and maintaining safety standards in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities include performing lab tests as per protocol, documenting results, and communicating critical values. Candidates should have state Paramedic licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications with 2+ years’ EMS or hospital experience.

Qualifications

  • Current certification/licensure as a Paramedic per state requirements.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current PALS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively.
  • Work under the direct supervision of ED physicians following orders and policies.
  • Perform lab testing as assigned, document results and communicate critical values.

Here is some of what you can expect from being a Paramedic with us:

  • You will implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively
  • You will work responsibly under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Emergency Department (ED) physicians performing care for patient(s) in accordance with physician’s orders, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies
  • You will Perform lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined
