Lever, Inc. is hiring dependable Paramedics to provide advanced life support in a 24/7 operation. You will work 10- to 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, and respond to both emergency and non-emergency medical calls.
The position requires state Paramedic certification, BLS/ACLS, PALS (or ability to obtain), and a valid driver’s license. You’ll assess, stabilize, transport patients, document care, and ensure HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced environment.
$30 - $35 an hour
We are seeking dependable and compassionate Paramedics to provide advanced life support and emergency medical care in a 24/7 operation. Paramedics work scheduled 10- to 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls.
Assess patients and provide advanced life support within the authorized scope of practice.
Perform patient stabilization, cardiac monitoring, airway management, medication administration, IV/IO access, and other approved procedures.
Determine appropriate treatment and transportation needs.
Safely transport patients to hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
Monitor and reassess patients throughout treatment and transport.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, receiving facilities, medical control, patients, and family members.
Complete accurate and timely electronic patient-care reports.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
Inspect and restock ambulances, medications, equipment, and supplies.
Follow established clinical protocols, safety procedures, and infection-control standards.
Operate emergency vehicles safely and in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.
Assist with station duties, training, quality-improvement activities, and other operational responsibilities.
Maintain professional conduct during interactions with patients, healthcare personnel, public-safety partners, and the public.
Current state Paramedic certification or license.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Current PALS certification or ability to obtain it within the required period.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to meet applicable background-screening and drug-testing requirements.
Ability to perform the physical duties of the position.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to remain calm and make appropriate decisions in stressful situations.
Previous ALS ambulance or emergency-response experience.
Current National Registry Paramedic certification.
Emergency Vehicle Operator certification.
Additional certifications such as PHTLS, ITLS, or advanced airway training.
Full-time and part-time opportunities may be available.
Scheduled 10- to 12-hour shifts.
Day and night shifts.
The operation runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Weekend and holiday availability is required.
Overtime and additional shifts may be available based on operational needs.
Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, and work in confined spaces.
Lift, move, and assist patients using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions.
Safely enter, exit, and work inside an ambulance.
