Job summary

HCA HealthONE Swedish in the Denver metro area is seeking an experienced Paramedic for the Emergency Department to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. You will perform ED procedures under physician orders, support lab testing as required, and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.

We value experienced paramedics with strong clinical skills and a commitment to safety, who can adapt to the busy ED setting and work under supervision to deliver timely care.

Qualifications

• Current certification/licensure as a Paramedic per state requirements.
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a field paramedic with an EMS agency and/or clinical experience working in a hospital preferred

Responsibilities

• You will implement technical procedures and care to Emergency Department patients safely and effectively
• You will work responsibly under the direct supervision and responsibility of the Emergency Department (ED) physicians performing care for patient(s) in accordance with physician’s orders, policies, procedures, established standards and administrative policies
• You will Perform lab testing as assigned based on protocol of each test, documenting results and communicating critical as defined
