Job summary

Join Parachute, LLC in Fremont, NE, is seeking a Paramedic (Physician Substitute) to join our Center Medical team. This full-time role focuses on donor health and safety and collaboration with center staff to create a welcoming, efficient donor experience.

We’re a high-growth organization with strong opportunities. You will monitor donor eligibility, perform health screenings, respond to reactions, manage logs, and cross-train in phlebotomy and station setup.

Qualifications

• Must be certified/licensed as a Paramedic in the state of employment.
• Current BLS or CPR certification required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive environment.
• Manage health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross train in all center functions including phlebotomy, processing bottles, and station installation.
