Job summary

Join Parachute in Fremont, NE is seeking a Physician Substitute to join our Center Medical team. This full-time role focuses on donor health and safety, administering health screenings and exams, and ensuring a positive donor experience.

You will collaborate with center staff, gain cross-training in phlebotomy and related center functions, and have opportunities for career growth in a fast-scaling organization offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or higher.
• Current licensed/certified in the respective state as a healthcare provider (RN/Paramedic/LPN/EMT).
• Current BLS or CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to ensure a positive donor experience.
• Maintain health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in phlebotomy and other center functions.
