Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a Paramedic to operate under the Medical Transport Supervisor, delivering pre-hospital care across age groups from neonate to geriatric. You will apply treatment and stabilization techniques within certification scope and NGHS policies.

Expect a 24-hour on, 48-hour off schedule and adherence to state regulations. Required are Georgia state Paramedic certification, ACLS, PALS and BLS, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Licensed paramedic with state certification and ACLS/PALS certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• High school diploma or GED completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for neonate to geriatric patients under supervision.
• Stabilize and treat patients using protocols per Georgia Department of Public Health.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, supplies, and documentation per NGHS policies.
• Adhere to all regulations, safety standards, and uniform requirements.
• Complete paperwork accurately and promptly prior to shift end.
