Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a qualified Emergency Medical Technician to join the Medical Transport team. You will perform clinical duties under supervision, caring for patients across age groups, and comply with Georgia Public Health guidelines.

The role requires state EMT certification and a high school diploma; prior experience is not required and pay is commensurate with experience. You will operate NGHS vehicles and maintain equipment according to policy.

Qualifications

• State EMT certification is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pay commensurate on experience, but not required.
• Must meet Georgia Department of Public Health licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of emergency medicine for pre-hospital care.
• Keeps ambulance clean, fueled and stocked at all times.
• Maintains equipment and retrieves gear from hospitals as needed.
• Documents work according to Medical Transport standards.
