Job summary

The City of Dinuba Fire Department is seeking a Paramedic to respond to emergencies, administer Advanced Life Support, and transport patients to medical facilities. The role emphasizes customer service and patient advocacy while serving the community with compassion.

Qualified candidates will possess or obtain California Paramedic certification, National Registry, CCEMSA, ACLS, and BLS within one month of appointment. Salary ranges reflect a 56-hour schedule with 16 hours overtime weekly.

Qualifications

• Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California driver's license.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, valid State of California Paramedic certificate, or National Registry with ability to obtain California Paramedic certificate within one month of appointment.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, CCEMSA Paramedic certification within one month of appointment.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, current ACLS certification within one month of appointment.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain, current BLS healthcare provider certification within one month of appointment.

• Respond to emergencies under general supervision.
