Job summary

Kingsburg Orchards Fire Department seeks a Paramedic to provide definitive care in life-threatening medical situations and respond to both routine and emergency aids. The role includes ambulance operation, ACLS-level interventions, and ongoing training to maintain certification.

Requirements include California paramedic license, National Registry, CCEMSA card, CPR and ACLS/PALS/PHTLS certifications, plus a high school diploma and a valid CA driver’s license with ambulance endorsement.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time field Paramedic experience is highly desirable.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current California Class C Driver’s License with ambulance endorsement.
• National Registry Paramedic certification.
• CCEMSA Paramedic card.
• CPR certification.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide definitive care.
• Render aid to injured parties and operate ambulances and related equipment.
• Administer ACLS level medicines and procedures under medical control.
• Diagnose medical problems and perform first-aid and resuscitation functions.
• Participate in station, equipment and apparatus maintenance and training.
