Job summary

Fortrea, a leading Clinical Research Organization, seeks a Paramedic for its Daytona Beach, FL unit to interact with healthy volunteers and learn clinical research protocols in a fast-paced team environment.

Under Physician oversight, you will provide basic and advanced medical care, lead resuscitation when needed, monitor adverse events, document in source records, and assist with study procedures while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• State license or certification as a Paramedic required.
• ACLS certification required.
• 2+ years of Paramedic experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, investigators and staff to support participant care.
• Provide basic and advanced medical care within scope of practice.
• Lead resuscitation and stabilization in emergencies following protocols.
• Monitor and document adverse events and safety assessments.
• Escalate safety concerns to investigators for review.
