Job summary

University of Alaska is seeking an experienced Paramedic Clinical Preceptor to supervise and mentor paramedic students during clinical rotations. The role also covers EMS laboratory instruction, simulation, student remediation, and ensuring equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Three years college coursework and/or equivalent experience in EMS education or clinical supervision.
• Current National Registry Paramedic certification and Alaska Paramedic licensure, or ability to obtain licensure.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS and PALS certification or equivalent as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support paramedic students during clinical rotations.
• Provide real-time instruction, feedback, and evaluation of student performance.
• Assist in meeting required clinical competencies and student progress.
• Support EMS laboratory, simulation instruction, and equipment readiness.
