Job summary

Anchoragechamber is seeking a Clinical Educator to lead in-house and outreach educational programs for Ground & Flight Operations. This role drives staff development, clinical readiness, and a culture of safety and accountability across the organization.

Responsibilities include creating curricula, conducting simulations, and mentoring staff during routine and high-acuity transports. Travel to bases for offsite training is expected.

Qualifications

  • RN or Paramedic licensed in Alaska.
  • 5+ years of clinical and/or teaching experience.
  • Experience designing and delivering education and training programs.
  • Willingness to travel to other bases for offsite training.
  • Strong communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Instruct recertification classes and simulation activities.
  • Provide outreach education and maintain records.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate educational programs for clinical staff
  • Conduct skills assessments, simulation-based training, and scenario evaluations
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify needs and implement evidence‑based training
  • Maintain training materials aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a clinical resource and mentor during routine and high‑acuity transports
  • Support onboarding, precepting, and ongoing staff development
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, root cause analyses, and safety debriefs
  • Plan, revise, and update curricula, course content, and instructional methods
  • Instruct recertification classes and Human Patient Simulation activities
  • Provide outreach education and maintain educational records
Qualifications
  • Licensed RN or Paramedic in the State of Alaska
  • Prior medical transport experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSN, BEM, BSES, BAE, or equivalent) preferred
  • 5+ years of clinical and/or teaching experience
  • Experience designing and delivering education and training programs
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to other bases and participate in offsite training
  • Highly organized with a strong sense of personal accountability
