Job summary

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech-enabled, pediatrician-led medical group delivering in-home and telehealth care for children with special health care needs. The role involves in-home visits, care coordination, and collaboration with a full interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate, high-quality pediatric care.

The position requires EMT-Paramedic credentials (MO license or NREMT), PALS/ACLS/BLS, 3+ years of field experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• EMT-Paramedic with active license in Missouri and/or Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT).
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS required.
• 3+ years of field clinical experience; pediatric experience and non-traditional paramedic roles are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Travel to members’ homes for acute and episodic care.
• Work with the integrated care team to provide high-quality pediatric care.
• Assist with urgent needs under physician guidance.
• Engage in clinical intake visits and onboarding of new members.
• Engage with recently discharged members to prevent readmission and address root causes.

Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. We deliver 24/7 virtual first and in home medical, behavioral, and social care, working alongside families, providers, and health plans to break down barriers to quality care. We do not replace existing care teams; we enhance them, providing an extra layer of support with compassion, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to children with medical complexity.

The schedule is expected to be Monday – Friday 10am - 6pm local time with flexibility based on member needs and visit locations.

What You'll Do

As a Pediatric Home Care Specialist (Paramedic Certified/Licensed) with Imagine Pediatrics, you will in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, facilitate in home delivery of episodic and longitudinal care. You leverage an integrated technology platform and are complimented by an entire interdisciplinary team including APPs, registered nurses, navigators, pharmacists, psychiatrists, social workers, and therapists. You will:

• Travel to members’ homes, or wherever in the community our members are, in response to requests for acute and episodic medical, behavioral, and social needs.
• Work closely as a member of an integrated care team to provide high-quality, compassionate, and skilled care to our pediatric members and their families.
• Assist, in collaboration with other members of the integrated care team, with urgent needs for our members. Provide therapeutic intervention under the direct guidance of a physician.
• Assist in the engagement and onboarding of new members by helping conduct and facilitate clinical intake visits.
• Engage with members recently discharged from inpatient admission or recently seen in the Emergency Department to prevent readmission, and identify and solve root causes of readmission.

First and foremost , you’re passionate and committed to reimagining pediatric health care and creating a world where every child with special health care needs gets the care and support they deserve. You will need:

• EMT-Paramedic with active license in the state of Missouri, and/or Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT)
• PALS, ACLS, and BLS required
• 3+ years of field clinical experience. Nice to have: experience with pediatric patients and/or non-traditional Paramedic roles such as: critical care, primary care, tele-health, community paramedicine, mobile integrated healthcare, emergency room, or value-based care delivery.
• Driver’s license and good driving record, along with reliable transportation.
• Strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and effective collaboration.
• Experience and ability to identify opportunities to build trust through delivering clinical and social impact for every member.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic work environment.
• Experience and ability to use and navigate multiple technology platforms in care delivery.

The role offers a base hourly range of $24/hr - $30/hr in addition to annual bonus incentive, competitive company benefits package and eligibility to participate in an employee equity purchase program (as applicable).
