Responsibilities:
Performs field checks on crews/trucks to ensure safety and operational standards are met Troubleshoots issues to the Operations Manager/Fleet Mechanic for resolution
Assists Crews with lift assists in the field
Helps maintain supplies/equipment for trucks and ordering
Assists with managing call-outs by contacting staff to fill operational gaps as needed
Assists with data requests, research and other projects as needed.
Facilitates Deputy, iPCR, Ambulnz app training, and clinical and operational competencies during new hire orientation
Educates the crews on the PCS and assists with any missing PCS’s
Understands the dispatch process and is able to assist dispatch as needed to ensure scheduling efficiencies and optimization
Transport vehicles as needed by direction of the Fleet Mechanic or Operational personnel
May be required to assist with RRT operations
Reports directly to the Director of Operations and completes tasks assigned in a timely manner
Reports to the required location and makes themselves available for company meetings in other locations as needed
Completes daily operations reports, attends all meetings as required, and maintains all relevant certifications.
Responds and coordinates response to emergency situations as needed
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Valid and current PA Paramedic License
Nationally Registered Paramedic (preferred)
Valid CPR Card for the Health Care Provider
ACLS and PALS
Must be able to obtain a command letter
Minimum of 3 years of Paramedic experience
ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
FP-C / CCP – C strongly encouraged
Must have open availability, including overnights and weekends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be tech savvy and computer literate
2+ years of experience in a supervisory role (preferred)
Valid Driver’s License (for at least 2 years) with an acceptable driving record (required)
Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability)
Problem solving skills, attention to detail, & organization skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Previous 911 or CCT experience OR experience on an ALS transport vehicle in which you were the primary paramedic
