Job summary

AMR is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time opportunity in Billings, Montana. The role includes a $15K sign-on bonus with a 2-year commitment and delivering advanced patient care to customers.

You will lead on-scene operations and respond to 911 calls, working with a team of medical professionals to provide high-quality care. The position requires a state paramedic license, valid driver's license, and the necessary certifications (BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• Valid Driver's License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work with allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.
