Job summary

AMR in Billings is hiring Paramedics for a full-time role to deliver advanced patient care on 911 responses with leadership on scene and EMS unit management.

Eligible candidates possess a state paramedic license, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications and a valid driver’s license, with preferred healthcare experience and agility testing approval.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test required.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment (defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen/suction, IV fluids) for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader, overseeing scene and unit management when needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.
