Paramedic

IMMEDIATE HIRING! FULL-TIME PARAMEDIC OPPORTUNITY

We're hiring Paramedics who are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and providing both basic and advanced patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action, following progressive Paramedic protocols.

2. Utilize your Paramedic skills with medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.

3. Communicate effectively with patients and their loved ones to provide information and reassurance.

4. Act as the Paramedic team leader, taking responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.

5. Drive the ambulance during 911 responses.

6. Collaborate professionally with all allied health, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's positive image and foster strong community relations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

• State Paramedic License.

• State Driver's License.

• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.

• Driving record compliant with company policy.

• Pass Physical Agility Test.

• Some healthcare work experience is preferred.
