Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care with both basic and advanced medical services. Responsibilities include leading scenes, driving 911 responses, and coordinating with health and public safety teams.

Qualifications include a California Paramedic License, CPR/ACLS/PALS or PEPP, and multiple ICS/NIMS certifications. Position requires a CA Ambulance Driver’s License and a valid EMT-related credentialing set.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• California driver’s license and Ambulance Driver’s License required.
• Medical Examiner’s Card and CA Paramedic License required.
• CPR, ACLS, and PALS (or PEPP) certifications required.
• IS-100B, IS-200B, IS-700A, IS-800B courses as per NIMS/ICS.
• Driving record must meet AMR safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action with progressive protocols.
• Apply paramedic skills with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IVs.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide care information.
• Act as Paramedic team lead for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

Paramedic (Full- Time)

POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.


• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.


• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.


• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.


• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.


• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Salary Range: $22.39 - $24.98 DOE (This rate applies to a 12 and 24 hour shift.)
