Job summary

HealthCARE Express is seeking a dependable Paramedic to join as a Regional Float, covering Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood urgent care clinics. This PRN role involves floating between locations to meet patient volume and staffing needs, with primarily 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Applicants must hold an active Paramedic certification and be willing to travel among three Arkansas clinics. Prior urgent care or EMS experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel between Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood locations.
• Urgent care, EMS, or related healthcare experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs, prepare patients for exams and treatments.
• Perform EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing.
• Administer medications within scope, start IVs, assist with wound care and procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and support patient flow across clinics.

Paramedic – Regional Float | Arkansas

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: PRN / As Needed | Primarily 12-Hour Shifts

Float Area: Maumelle, Bryant & Sherwood, Arkansas

HealthCARE Express is looking for a dependable, flexible Paramedic to join our team as a Regional Float Paramedic.

This is a PRN, as-needed position providing clinical coverage at our Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood urgent care clinics. Rather than being assigned to one location, you'll float between clinics based on patient volume, staffing needs, and clinic coverage.

This is a great fit for a Paramedic who enjoys variety, works well with different teams, and is comfortable jumping in wherever support is needed.

Pay & Schedule

• $25.00 per hour
• PRN / as-needed
• Primarily 12-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• Saturday coverage may be needed from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Must be willing and able to work at Maumelle, Bryant, and Sherwood
• Hours and clinic location will vary based on coverage needs

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Regional Float Paramedic, you'll work alongside Providers and clinic team members to provide quality patient care and help keep clinic operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities may include obtaining and documenting vital signs, preparing patients for exams and treatments, performing EKGs, venipuncture, specimen collection and routine lab testing, administering medications within your scope of practice, starting IVs, assisting with wound care and minor procedures, and maintaining accurate patient documentation.

You’ll also work closely with Providers and other team members to support patient flow, maintain patient confidentiality, and step in wherever needed to keep the clinic running efficiently.

We’re looking for a Paramedic who is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Strong communication and multitasking skills are important, along with attention to detail and a patient-focused approach.

Applicants must have an active Paramedic certification and be comfortable traveling between all three Arkansas clinic locations. Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, EMS, or similar healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
