Hospital to Home LLC in Appomattox, VA is looking for a Paramedic to provide advanced field care and support during transport. You will perform ALS care, manage airway, administer medications, and monitor patients from scene to facility, collaborating with RNs and case managers to ensure seamless transitions.

Ideal candidates hold a State Paramedic License (NREMT if required), current BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must hold State Paramedic License; NREMT as required.
• Current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; ITLS/PHTLS preferred.
• Minimum 21 years old; able to lift 125 lbs. individually and 250 lbs. assisted.

Responsabilités

• Respond to calls for medical assistance, interfacility transfers, and in-home assessments.
• Provide advanced life support (ALS) care including medication administration, airway management, cardiac monitoring, and trauma stabilization.
• Collaborate with RNs, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to support seamless patient transitions from hospital to home.
• Monitor and document patient condition during transport, communicating changes to medical personnel and receiving facilities.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment and the ambulance in a state of readiness.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and complete documentation of all patient care provided.
• Educate patients and families on medications, follow-up care, and health management when applicable.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and professional standards in all interactions.
