Job Summary
This position provides emergency care at the scene of an accident or other emergency. Responsibilities include preparation for response, response, care delivery, transportation, documentation, and post-response duties. Attends to patients during transport on non-emergency calls, ensuring patient safety en route. Performs initial scene and patient assessments, including history taking and physical exams. Recognizes patients needing immediate attention and initiates emergency life-saving treatments such as CPR, oxygen therapy, intubation, IV insertion, and medication administration as per physician orders or ACLS protocols. Participates in community and safety programs as assigned, and performs other duties as needed.

Minimum Education and Certification Requirements
Experience and Skills
Minimum 1 year as an Emergency Medical Technician preferred. Skills include critical thinking, customer service, assessment, judgment, active learning, problem-solving, clear communication, time management, and report writing.
