Bluedrop Medical has developed the future of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) prevention. Our solution includes a home-use foot scanner that captures hi-res images and temperature data from users in less than 30 seconds per day. The images and temperature data are transmitted directly to our team of specialists who review the data and identify potential risk factors associated with early development of a DFU. Risk factors are communicated to users as needed, and if medical intervention is required, we notify the physician providing foot care to the individual and help coordinate an appointment if necessary.

The Remote Clinical Specialist is responsible for reviewing scans, i.e. images and temperature data received by our at-home scanner, and annotating scans for signs of risk factors based on a standard inspection policy in our proprietary inspection software. The annotations will drive appropriate communication with patients by our Engagement Specialist Team so attention to detail is a necessity. The role is part-time, hourly, and will provide weekend and holiday coverage.

Essential Skills and Experience

·Experience in medical documentation and charting within EHR or other health record systems

·Extremely detail oriented and thorough in written communications

·Excellent writing and communication skills

Preferred Experience

·Experience assessing risk factors associated with the diabetic foot

·Experience working remotely under limited supervision

·Experience following rigorous policy and written instructions
